Biography
Megan attended college at the University of Texas at Austin and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in advertising. After graduating, she worked as an Executive Team Leader at Target, and then as a Program Manager with Alliance Abroad Group. A few years later, Megan made the decision to attend law school at South College of Law in Houston, Texas.
As a law school student, Megan assisted low-income and undocumented workers recover unpaid wages with the Equal Justice Center, assisted persons with disabilities to find representation within the legal system with Disability Rights Texas, and helped people in the Houston community by working in the South Texas College of Law Family Clinic. Megan obtained certification as a Mediator from the state of Texas while working in the South Texas College of Law Mediation Clinic and worked to settle disputes involving employment, landlord-tenant disputes, and debt collection.
Megan has spent her legal career advocating for those that are wronged by others. She is a long-time advocate for workers’ rights and social justice. Prior to joining King & Siegel, Megan worked at an employment discrimination firm and a plaintiff’s personal injury firm.
Megan is originally from the Houston area and has lived and worked in the greater Austin area since 2003. In her free time, Megan enjoys spending time with her family and pets, reading, watching some Netflix, doing crossword puzzles, going to the gym, and working on craft projects.
