biography
Elliot Siegel graduated with honors (cum laude) from NYU School of Law and practiced at some of the country’s biggest litigation firms where he learned to litigate strategically, aggressive, and efficiently by some of the best trial lawyers in the Country. It was here that Mr. Siegel saw how important access to competent and good counsel was in navigating the legal system, and how rarely employees and other members of the public could find that type of representation. This realization led him to dedicate his career to representing employees and consumers who lacked the resources to protect themselves from being preyed on by their employers or unscrupulous businesses by co-founding King & Siegel in early 2018.
At King & Siegel, Mr. Siegel runs the Firm’s class action practice, which focuses on wage and hour and consumer class actions. He has recovered over $33,500,000 on behalf of employees through his class action practice on cases that have received or are awaiting court approval and has won certification on behalf of a class of over 1,000 employees. Mr. Siegel also works on many of the Firm’s disability related cases, where he takes pride in his work as lead counsel in securing numerous six and seven-figure settlements for those employees wrongfully terminated due to their need for accommodations, who suffered harassment or discrimination, or were wronged in some other way by their employers. At his prior firms, Mr. Siegel’s resolute advocacy contributed to his clients achieving recoveries exceeding $700 million in high-stakes commercial cases. Notably, he assumed the role of first-chair in a pivotal real estate trial, securing $450,000 for the client. He also participated in the trial team of the prominent Apple v. Samsung case, and has handled numerous other complex litigation matters.
Mr. Siegel’s work has resulted in him to being named a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers each year since co-founding King & Siegel, an honor extended to only 3% of lawyers under 40 statewide.
In his free time, Mr. Siegel likes to spend time outdoors either hiking or SCUBA diving, and indoors with competitive (or non-competitive) interactive strategy games.
Licensed to practice law in California, Mr. Siegel remains an active and engaged member of the legal community.
