Biography

Corey Bennett is a dedicated advocate for employees and consumers, bringing well over a decade of experience in employment law, consumer protection, and class action litigation. Since being admitted to practice in 2009, Corey has fought tirelessly for victims of workplace harassment, discrimination, wage theft, and whistleblower retaliation, as well as vulnerable consumers seeking justice.

Before joining King & Siegel LLP, Corey worked with top plaintiffs’ firms, including the Matern Law Group, Lieff Cabraser Heimann & Bernstein, and the Mills Law Firm. Through his advocacy, he has helped recover tens of millions of dollars for clients and class members, secured national media coverage, and built a reputation as a skilled and compassionate attorney. In 2021, he was recognized by Super Lawyers as a “Rising Star,” but he takes the greatest pride in the moments that aren’t publicized—helping clients feel heard, delivering news of a hard-earned victory, and earning referrals from those he’s represented.

Corey earned his bachelor’s degree in international affairs, with a minor in German, from Northern Arizona University. He then attended the University of Southern California, where he was a Dean’s Merit Scholar and obtained a master’s degree in Public Administration while working for the City of Los Angeles and a public affairs firm. Corey went on to earn his Juris Doctor from the University of San Francisco School of Law, where he developed his passion for plaintiff-side advocacy.

When he’s not lawyering, Corey enjoys cycling, watching soccer and basketball, playing frisbee and exploring the outdoors with his family, laughing, and occasionally picking up the guitar. He also has a soft spot for improv and Mad Libs.
