John L. Schwab is an Associate Attorney with King & Siegel LLP. He works exclusively on behalf of employees to protect them from discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination. He has been recognized as a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers for three consecutive years, an award given to no more than 2.5% of all attorneys in California.
Prior to joining King & Siegel LLP, John worked at a premier employment litigation firm in Pasadena. He also completed a prestigious fellowship at a nationally renowned trial law firm in Santa Monica ranked as one of the “Best Law Firms” by U.S. News & World Report. He is passionate about trial advocacy and has second-chaired two jury trials, where he conducted direct and cross-examination of expert and lay witnesses and argued motions in limine.
John graduated with honors from Wright State University and earned a law degree from UC Davis School of Law. While in law school, he served as Senior Notes and Comments Editor for the UC Davis Law Review and worked as a tutor to first-year law students. He was named “Law Student of the Year” by the Consumer Attorneys of California, an organization dedicated to protecting the interests of 39 million Californians.
John is active in the employment law community. He serves on the editorial board for the California Labor and Employment Law Review, and is a member of the California Employment Lawyers Association’s Mentorship Committee.
In his free time, John enjoys exercising, reading books on trial advocacy, and playing music. He is an accomplished drummer who has recorded on several albums and has toured throughout the United States and Canada.
