Rachel received her bachelor’s degree from American University in 2020. During her four years, she was selected for the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, was a recipient of the Frederick Douglass Merit Scholarship, spent four years on the Dean’s List, and was the first student to attend a year-long university program in London, U.K.
Her time in Washington, D.C. has hugely influenced her passion for social justice and advocacy. Against the backdrop of an atypical time in the nation’s capital, Rachel is proud to have spent so much of her time involved with various social justice and non-profit organizations.
Rachel loves to attend the theatre, read feminist literature, do anything outdoors (especially on the water), and see live music. She is currently aspiring to add “running” and “keeping plants alive” to the list.
